Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Executive Director and the specific oversight of the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II), the Marketing, Education and Outreach (ME&O) Specialist (Staff Services Manager I) functions as the lead to direct coordination, strategic partnerships, and external engagement related to ME&O for the GoGreen Financing Programs.

The Specialist consults with the executive management team, the SSM1 Program Managers, and exercises independent judgment in the oversight of the daily operations related to ME&O. The Specialist helps oversee the work of third party vendors contracted to provide outreach to building contractors and to residential and business customers and coordinates with the marketing teams of the Investor-owned Utilities and other important channel partners. This position is non-supervisory, but helps direct and prioritize the work of an ME&O analyst.

The CHEEF is a collaboration with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to establish a centralized platform for private capital providers to increase access to and improve the terms of private capital financing for energy efficiency retrofits through credit enhancements and on-bill repayment functionality. Working Conditions

CAEATFA, as part of the State Treasurer’s Office, is currently operating under a hybrid office/telework schedule. This may provide the incumbent teleworking opportunities.

This position will require occasional overnight travel (a few times per year) and may require occasional day travel.
