Special Requirements

  • The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of financing principles and mechanisms relating to taxable and tax-exempt financings, conventional loan guarantees, health industry, direct lending, grants, and other financing alternatives.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct research and prepare complex analysis and recommendations for management consideration.

• Ability to develop and implement strategic outreach, education and evaluation plans in furtherance of organizational goals.

• Ability to work collaboratively and elicit cooperation from stakeholders.

• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and CHFFA's customized database systems.

• Ability to work independently, with tact, and in a team environment.

• Desire to work in a fast-paced, small, service-oriented state agency prioritizing accountability, transparency and customer service.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically, pay careful attention to detail and accept increasing responsibility.

• Highly skilled in oral and written communications and ability to adapt the message to the audience and purpose, including written analysis and recommendations, in-person presentations before Executive Management and the board of the Authority, public speaking to various stakeholders.
