Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I and/or Staff Services Manager II, this position will act independently in developing and implementing various programs, policies and operating procedures of the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) related to the California Hub for Energy Efficiency Financing (CHEEF) pilot programs. 

The CHEEF is a collaboration with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), funded with $75 million of investor-owned utility (IOU) ratepayer funds, to establish a centralized platform for private capital providers to increase access to and improve the terms of private capital financing for energy efficiency retrofits through credit enhancements and on-bill repayment functionality.  For more information on the CHEEF pilots, see and

This position may require travel once-twice a month on day or overnight trips.

  • The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

  • This is a traveling position. A valid CA driver license in good standing must be held by all applicants who apply.
