Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Presiding Workers’ Compensation Administrative Law Judge, the Management Services Technician shall perform the following duties:

Schedule hearings and maintain a calendar system for the Claims Adjudication court system; screen documents to determine appropriateness for walk through calendar settings;

Review and evaluate complex documents, extract detailed information, insert documents and insure files are properly maintained; type and serve documents as directed; file and retrieve case files as directed. Prepare, scan and complete documents/batches into EAMS; manually entering documents that are unreadable by EAMS’ optical scanner, researching and manually entering documents missing information.

May answer phones and act as counter receptionist, assist DWC customers, providing answers to most complex question regarding Claims Adjudication, Return to Work and Disability Evaluation questions at reception counter and by phone;

Performs other related duties as required
