Job Description and Duties

The Contractors State License Board is currently recruiting for a Management Services Technician within the Executive Office of the Contractors State License Board.

The position is located in Sacramento.

Under the supervision of the Chief Deputy Registrar (CEA B), the incumbent is responsible for assisting analytical staff in providing analytical and technical support to the Registrar, Chief Deputy Registrar, and the Executive Division Staff.

This non-confidential Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is designed to elicit information regarding each applicant’s abilities, knowledge, and experience in relation to the Management Services Technician position in the Executive Office, within the Contractors State License Board.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
The incumbent must have outstanding interpersonal skills and a clear understanding of the Board process. This requires advanced computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, etc.) and proofreading skills; along with having a complete understanding of the Board guidelines, laws, rules, and regulations. The MST must have excellent communication skills, good grammar, be able to work well under pressure, and with rapidly changing priorities.
