Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Office Technician (Typing) works in the License Management & Processing Operations Section and is responsible for providing clerical and back-up support services to other employees and units within the section. Duties include performing the most difficult duties related to the entering of all licensing application types, preparing applications and other documents for scanning and electronic imaging and application research using the TEALE computer database.

  • The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
