The California Victim Compensation Board's (CalVCB) mission is to assure the rights of California victims of crime by providing responsive financial compensation through a stable Restitution Fund.  The CalVCB is a special funded department under the direction of the Government Operations Agency.

Job Description and Duties

Under the direct supervision of Staff Services Manager I, within the Application Intake Section (AIS), the Office Technician (Typing) functions with a high degree of initiative.  Communicates program information of a sensitive nature to claimants; service providers; independently reviews and enters data associated with the California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB) pursuant to statute and regulation.

Special Requirements

  • The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section).
