Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor, College Finance & Facilities Planning Division, the Administrator plans, organizes, directs activities, and supervises staff in the Fiscal Standards and Accountability Unit. This position is responsible for compliance of the community colleges main financial functions.

- Work in a climate-controlled, open office environment under artifical lighting.
- Exposure to computer screens and other basic office equipment.
- Occasional overnight travel throughout the State is required.
- Occasional public speaking is required.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Strong candidates possess the following:
Strong accounting experience, preferably attendance accounting
Experience in community college accounting and auditing functions
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
